waterdrop

waterdrop is an Austrian drinks company from Vienna. The company waterdrop Microdrink GmbH started in 2017 with a small cube that dissolves in water and flavours it, and it now also sells filters and bottles. According to the company it has more than 400 team members, over 50 own stores in Europe, Australia and the USA and more than 25,000 retail partners.

Range

• Microdrink cubes in many flavours that turn plain water into a flavoured drink
• Reusable bottles and water filters in the same brand
• A packaging argument the company makes itself: a cube pod uses up to 98 percent less packaging by weight than a 500 ml single-use PET bottle

Ownership

The company says it has served more than five million customers online and in its own stores. It is a private company with no known non-European parent.
