Burberry

Burberry is a British luxury fashion house headquartered in London. Thomas Burberry founded the company in 1856 in Basingstoke, England, on the principle that clothing should protect people from the British weather. In 1879 he developed gabardine, the weatherproof fabric that later became the basis of the trench coat. The parent company, Burberry Group plc, is a listed company with its registered office on Horseferry Road in London.
