Hermès

Website

Hermès is a French luxury house founded in 1837 by Thierry Hermès in Paris as a harness and saddlery workshop. The company is still based at 24 rue du Faubourg Saint-Honoré, where the family business began, and the Hermès family remains its controlling shareholder. Hermès International is listed in Paris. Hermès International is organised as a partnership limited by shares.

Features

  • Leather goods are the heart of the house: handbags, small leather goods, belts and luggage made in the brand's own workshops.
  • Silk scarves and ties, ready-to-wear for women and men, shoes and jewellery.
  • Watches, homeware, fragrances and beauty products.
  • Online store plus a network of company-operated boutiques.

Things to know

Hermès sells at luxury prices, and some bag models are hard to get because supply is limited. The brand is not related to the German parcel service Hermès Germany, which is listed separately on this site under a similar name.
