In its annual report for the 52 weeks to 25 January 2025 the Partnership reports around 69,000 Partners across John Lewis and Waitrose. The annual report says that taking Partners' opinion into account in decision-making is intrinsic to employee ownership. John Lewis describes its range as homeware, fashion and technology, and the website sits next to the shops.

The Partnership is held in trust for its employees, so there are no outside shareholders and no non-European parent.
