Ownership

This is the reason for the non-European parent flag. The Thai Central Group has owned La Rinascente since it acquired the chain in 2011. In September 2025 the listed Central Retail Corporation (CRC) agreed to sell its whole Italian department store portfolio, including La Rinascente S.p.A., to its sister company and major shareholder Central Department Store Co., Ltd., the unit commonly called Central Group, for about 14.7 billion baht (about 295 million US dollars). In both versions the owner is based in Thailand.
