ABF has announced a planned demerger of Primark, but its published timetable says the separation is intended to take effect before the end of 2027 and still depends on approvals. ABF reports that Wittington Investments and associated parties hold majority control, with the Garfield Weston Foundation as ultimate controlling party. These are British and Irish entities, so the ownership is European under the site's geographic threshold.
