Redcare Pharmacy
WebsiteRedcare Pharmacy N.V., formerly Shop Apotheke Europe N.V., is a European online pharmacy group headquartered in Sevenum in the Netherlands, close to Venlo. Its shares have been listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange (Prime Standard) since 2016, and it has been part of the MDAX index since June 2023. The best known consumer brand is Shop Apotheke.
Business and size
In its figures for 2025, Redcare reported full-year sales of 2.9 billion euros and 13.9 million active customers, 1.4 million more than a year before. It serves customers in seven countries: Germany, Austria, France, Belgium, Italy, the Netherlands and Switzerland.
Prescription and non-prescription products
The group sells over-the-counter medicines, health and beauty products and, where the law permits, prescription medicines. In Germany, its prescription sales rose 98 percent to 503 million euros in 2025 after the introduction of the e-prescription, and its non-prescription sales grew 15 percent to 1.9 billion euros.
