Evri
WebsiteEvri is a British parcel delivery company, formerly known as Hermes UK, and describes itself as the UK's biggest dedicated parcel delivery business. In the 52 weeks to February 2025 it delivered more than 807 million parcels. Evri works with thousands of ParcelShops and lockers and a large network of couriers, and many UK retailers and online marketplaces use it for delivery and returns.
Features
- Parcel delivery to homes, ParcelShops and lockers across the UK, with tracking in the app
- Drop-off and returns at ParcelShops
- International parcels and accounts for frequent sellers
Ownership
Apollo-managed funds from the USA bought Evri from Advent International in 2024 and keep the majority. In 2025 the former DHL eCommerce UK business was merged into Evri, and DHL Group holds a significant minority stake. Because Apollo is the majority owner, Evri carries a notice for a non-European parent. Hermes in Germany is an unrelated company with its own entry here.
