InPost
WebsiteInPost is a Polish parcel company and the first in Poland to build a network of self-service parcel lockers, called Paczkomat, which are open around the clock. The operating company InPost sp. z o.o. is based in Kraków, and the group was listed in Amsterdam from 2021. Today it runs more than 60,000 lockers and more than 30,000 pick-up points in nine countries: Poland, the United Kingdom, France, Italy, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, the Netherlands and Luxembourg.
Features
- Parcel lockers for sending, collecting and returning parcels at any hour
- Delivery to lockers and pick-up points as an option in many online shops
- Courier delivery and services for online retailers
Ownership
In 2026 a consortium of the US investor Advent International and the US logistics group FedEx, each with 37 percent, the founder's company A&R with 16 percent and the Czech PPF with 10 percent, took over InPost for around 7.8 billion euros. Over 89 percent of the shares were tendered by September 2026, and a delisting is planned. Because the two US owners hold 74 percent together, InPost carries a notice for a non-European parent.
