PostNL is the Dutch postal and parcel company, operating as Koninklijke PostNL B.V. with its head office in The Hague. It has delivered mail in the Netherlands for more than 225 years and has about 31,500 employees. Today it is one of the largest players in e-commerce delivery in the Benelux, with parcels to homes, parcel lockers and pick-up points in the Netherlands and Belgium.

Ownership and limits

PostNL N.V. is listed on Euronext Amsterdam and has no non-European majority owner. PostNL is a regional carrier: outside the Benelux it works through partners, and international shipping goes through partners and the Spring GDS platform. Letter delivery is slower than it used to be because of the reduced delivery days.
