Mattoni

Mattoni is a Czech mineral water brand from the spa region around Karlovy Vary. The businessman Heinrich Mattoni founded the company in 1873 in Kyselka near Karlovy Vary, and the eagle on the label dates to the late 19th century. Today the company is Mattoni 1873 a.s., registered in Karlovy Vary, and it calls itself the largest producer of soft drinks in Central Europe.

• Further group brands in other countries, such as Szentkirályi and Kékkúti in Hungary and Knjaz Miloš in Serbia
• A bottler of PepsiCo drinks in Bulgaria through Quadrant Beverages, which joined the group

Ownership

The modern company started in 1991, when the Italian Pasquale family privatised the business and invested in its modernisation. Antonio Pasquale built it up, and Alessandro Pasquale continues the work. Knjaz Miloš has been fully owned by the group since 2024. There is no non-European parent.
