A company press release from 2026 reports almost 2,000 stores in 17 European countries and 18,000 employees. In the second quarter of the financial year 2026/27 Takko reported the highest quarterly revenue in its history (trade press).
Ownership
The private equity firm Apax Partners of London has invested in Takko since 2011 and lists it as a current holding. Fitch describes the borrower as the Germany-based Takko Holding Luxembourg 2 S.à r.l. Apax is European, so there is no non-European parent.
