Embracer Group

Embracer Group is a Swedish games and entertainment group with its head office in Karlstad, Sweden. The group grew through many acquisitions of studios and publishers and is listed on Nasdaq Stockholm with its Series B share. According to its annual report for 2025/26 it had more than 6,000 people and a portfolio of studios, franchises and labels, after it divested selected studios over the previous three years.

Embracer is a public company, and no non-European investor holds a majority of its shares. It is known for its fast expansion and the later downsizing, so its structure changes more often than that of a classic publisher.
