Kappahl is a Swedish fashion chain with its head office in Mölndal near Gothenburg. The Kappahl Group has two brands: Kappahl, the main chain, and Newbie, a brand for babies and children.

Ownership

The group is owned by Mellby Gård, a family-owned Swedish investor founded in 1986 by Rune Andersson. The family wants to keep Mellby Gård a family business through the generational change in 2025. There is no non-European parent.
