Musti Group

Musti Group is the leading pet care specialist in the Nordic countries. Matti Varpula, a dog breeder, opened the first Musti ja Mirri store in Tampere, Finland, in 1988. The head office is in Helsinki.

• Pet food, accessories and care products in the store chains Musti ja Mirri, Musti, Arken Zoo, Pet City and ZU
• Online stores such as Peten Koiratarvike and Vetzoo, plus pet care services in selected stores

Where to find it

The group operates in Finland, Sweden, Norway, the Baltic countries and Portugal. At the end of 2025 it had 497 own and franchise stores (company website). In 2024 it bought Pet City, which brought 46 stores and 16 veterinary clinics in Estonia, Latvia and Lithuania. Musti ja Mirri alone has more than 120 stores in Finland.

Ownership

Musti Group is part of the Portuguese Sonae Group, which is listed in Lisbon. The company website still describes the shares as listed on Nasdaq Helsinki. Both owner and company are European.
