Zoomalia

Zoomalia is a French online pet shop with its own stores. Pierre-Adrien Thollet, an animal lover with an interest in new technology, founded it in 2009, and the site has existed since 2010. The first physical store opened in Pau.

• Food, accessories and care products for dogs, cats and other pets, ordered online or bought in store
• 13 own brands that Zoomalia developed from 2013 onwards for specific animal needs

Where to find it

According to the company (website, October 2026), Zoomalia has 39 stores, mostly in western France, more than 350 employees and a presence in 27 countries. Websites for Spain, Germany and the United Kingdom followed the French shop. Zoomalia won the e-merchant award "Meilleur E-Commerçant 2025" in the pet category.

Ownership

Zoomalia was acquired by Holding Nicole, run by Guillaume and Rosaria Tavernier, who also own JMT Réseau and the buying group Central'T of the pet store network "Le Royaume des Animaux". The buyer is French, so there is no non-European parent.
