Superdrug

Superdrug is a British health and beauty retailer. Ronald and Peter Goldstein founded it in 1964, and its head office is in Croydon. According to the company's history page, the Superdrug estate counts about 790 stores in the UK and ten stores in Ireland, where it has been present since 2006.

Range

Superdrug sells beauty, skincare, cosmetics, health and personal care products, and it has its own beauty brands, among them B. skincare (launched 2013), Vitamin E skincare and Studio London cosmetics. Superdrug Online Doctor, launched in 2013, offers online consultations. Its Health & Beautycard, introduced in 2011, has more than 18 million members.

Ownership

A.S. Watson acquired Superdrug in 2006. A.S. Watson is part of the Hong Kong group CK Hutchison, which controls the company, so Superdrug is marked as having a non-European parent.
