Vittel
WebsiteVittel is a natural mineral water from the Vosges mountains in eastern France. Nestlé describes its terroir as exceptional and says it has protected the surroundings for more than 30 years through the Agrivair programme. Agrivair works with around forty local farmers on practices such as a zero-pesticide approach, limited fertiliser use, natural soil enrichment and crop rotation.
Range
- Still natural mineral water from the Vosges
- Biodiversity work around the source: 240 kilometres of hedgerows maintained since 2012 and 200 perches and nesting boxes for birds of prey installed between 2018 and 2020
- Cooperation with the French National Forestry Office to protect 300 hectares of forest
Ownership
Vittel is part of Nestlé Waters. Nestlé is headquartered in Vevey, Switzerland. In July 2026 Nestlé announced a 50/50 joint venture for its waters business with Platinum Equity of the USA, which would not give the American partner more than half, so no non-European parent flag is set.
