Submit SuggestionEuropean alternatives to SurveyMonkey include LimeSurvey (Germany), SoSci Survey (Germany), Typeform (Spain), Tally (Belgium), Survicate (Poland) and Mentimeter (Sweden). They cover different needs, from open-source survey software and academic research to simple form builders and live polls. SurveyMonkey is a US provider of online surveys and forms. This page helps to find a European survey tool that fits the use case and explains what a move involves.
SurveyMonkey describes itself as a global provider of online surveys and forms and says it collects answers to more than 20 million questions a day. The Basic plan is free and allows unlimited surveys with up to 10 questions each and a limited number of responses per survey. Paid plans add more than 25 question types, logic and branching, more than 400 templates, custom branding, thematic analysis, AI analysis and exports to CSV, XLS and PDF. Paid plans include a response limit per month, and SurveyMonkey states an extra charge of 0.15 US dollars per response above it.
The free plan is limited to 10 questions per survey and a limited number of responses, so longer surveys or larger samples need a paid plan, whose price depends on the response volume. SurveyMonkey is also a US provider, which matters for surveys that collect personal data from people in Europe, such as employee or customer feedback.
The details of each tool are on its product page. The category page Survey tools lists all of them.

Several tools have free plans or are free software, such as the open-source LimeSurvey when you host it yourself. Limits and prices are on each provider's own page.
That depends on the target tool. Questions often have to be rebuilt, and results can be exported from SurveyMonkey as CSV, XLS or PDF on paid plans.
See European alternatives to Google Forms for the same tools in the context of simple forms.
