Mouseflow

Mouseflow is a behaviour analytics service from Copenhagen, Denmark. Where classic web analytics counts visits, Mouseflow shows how visitors use single pages: where they click, how far they scroll and where they give up in a form. According to its own figures, more than 210,000 teams have used it since 2009.

• Session replay: recordings of visits that show what a visitor saw and did.
• Funnels, journeys and forms: conversion funnels, user journeys and form analytics show where visitors drop out.

Privacy, pricing and limits

Mouseflow provides a data processing agreement and offers data storage in the EU. A free plan covers 500 sessions per month, and paid plans start at 39 US dollars per month according to Mouseflow. Because it records individual sessions, form fields with personal data have to be masked and the legal basis checked. Mouseflow complements a traffic tool such as Plausible Analytics or Matomo but does not replace it.
